INGREDIENTS:
2 12oz Strip Steaks
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
4 Sprigs Fresh Thyme
4 Tbsp Verbena Garlic Olive Oil, divided
DIRECTIONS:
Rub steaks with 2 Tbsp of olive oil Season steaks with salt & pepper on both sides.
Heat a cast iron skillet on high; add remaining oil to coat skillet. Grill steaks 4 minutes per side. Reduce heat to medium, add thyme & cook 1 ½ minutes.
Place steaks on a cutting board & cover loosely with foil. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
Cut steaks across the grain & serve.
