Lavender Lace Herbal Tisane Tea

Herbal Tea-Small Batch-Made in the USA-Decaffeinated

In September, 1620, the Pilgrims left Plymouth, England for a treacherous journey across the oceans to a new world. Landing in Plymouth, Massachusetts on December 26, 1620, they set about rebuilding their lives, erecting new homes and planting their gardens. They could not bring the comforts from home; however, one thing they made sure to bring with them was the wonderfully fragrant & soothing herb, lavender. Thus began lavender cultivation in North America. This tisane brews to a flowery, minty, slightly sweet cup.  Prefer sweet tea?  Add some of our Lavender Honey!

Ingredients: Organic Cinnamon, Spearmint, Organic Rosemary, Lavender Flowers and Lemon Verbena.

Brew tea at 203º - Use 1-2 tsp. leaf per 8 oz. water. Allow boiling water to cool slightly, then pour over leaves. Steep 4 minutes.

Iced Tea: Prepare the loose tea: Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 1 cup of water. For example, if you're making 8 cups of tea, then steep eight 8 teaspoons of loose tea leaves in 8 cups of hot water. Add an additional 1-2 teaspoons of tea leaves for a stronger, bolder flavor, or if using a delicately-flavored tea.

*Gallon: use 2 oz of loose leaf tea (roughly 1-1 1/2 cups depending on leaf size)
Once the hot water is ready, pour it over the tea leaves and steep for the blend's recommended period of time.
To sweeten, add 1/4 cup of sugar or honey per 1 gallon of tea and adjust to taste. Be sure to add the sweetener while the tea is still hot and stir well until fully dissolved.
Once steeped, pour the hot tea concentrate into a serving pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or let cool to room temperature and serve over extra ice.
